Kings Express is a group of nine prison inmates based at Harare Central Prison, who believe they have been properly rehabilitated. The group specializes in Sungura music, but also using the popular genre’ to spread the good news (Gospel) to the people. The group’s origins can be traced in prison, as members saw music as a tool to preach and teach people. The group’s best local artist is Learnard ‘Musorowenyoka’ Dembo, while Koffi Olomide stands head and shoulders above all international artists.
