She was born at Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo on the 22nd of January 1999. She learnt at Crechious Lilies pre-school in 2004, by then her music talent has not yet sprouted. She attended grade one up to grade 5 at Tategulu Primary school and was known as someone who liked dancing. Everyone thought dancing was her talent because she was very good at it. In 2012 she transferred to McKeurtan where she did her Grade 6 and 7 and that is when she started singing. She joined the schoolchoir in Grade 7 but she never went to any of the competitions because of her asthmatic condition since birth.
In 2014 she started her secondary at Sizane High School where she joined the school choir again but also had to quit because of asthma. Every time she sang her condition would get worse, but because of her zeal to be a singer she never stopped. Banele competed at a local talent competition and won as the best singer. She thought her music journey was about to take off because she was promised a recording deal. However, she later realized she was conned as this promise was never fulfilled. She wrote her O’ levels and then proceeded to A’level soon after. She went back to sing in the choir and forced herself until the asthma was no more.
During her first year at University she went to audition for StarBrite Season 8 Auditions. This was just another way of getting her name on the limelight as an upcoming artist. She never thought that she would get as far as she has gone in the competition. “StarBrite has been a wonderful experience to me filled with adventures, I finally got to see the largest city of Zimbabwe, Harare and l tried learning a little bit of the Shona language. Most of all I made friends and memories that will last a lifetime” She said. The journey and the fight to make it to the music industry still continues. The tiny girl with a big heart is ready to conquer.
