Divine touch is a choral group which consists of thirty members. Each individual member plays a significant role as a leading or backing vocalist. The group was formed in 2009 with similar religious interests at Harare Central Prison. This choral group is engaged in performances at churches, conferences, weddings and other various functions. These performances fall under the achievements made by the group. The group also provides Psycho-social support to inmates.
This group’s main purpose is to spread the word of God through music. As there are many ways to preach the gospel, it is their call to do as such. Their main genre of music is gospel as it is often requested by the various authorities and people they meet. By having the ability to fuse jazz music, contemporary and soul, they can proudly say they are versatile in their music.
The founding members once recorded an album which was very successful. They have learnt form the past and are very much prepared with the belief that they can do better and achieve more on the local scene and international spectrum.
