GODLWAYO PRIMARY WUSHU CLUBGodlwayo Primary Wushu Club was formed in 2012, based in Bulawayo and it has a membership of five boys who specializes in Wing Chuan Wushu (Martial Arts). Mr Giyani Moyo is the director of the club whilst Mr Simbarashe Simango is the trainer/choreographer of the club. The group rehearses six times a week for three hours each session.
The group have performed on thirteen different occasions since 2012 up to date and their major performances include Sports and Recreation Council, Yes Games Provincial level in Bulawayo(2012) ,President R. G. Mugabe belated birthday at Large City Hall( 2013) and Starbrite National Finalists Prospective Engagement ( 2014), to name a few.
The club members are Pride Ncube aged 12 who was inspired by Jaden Smith (Karate Kid) and his ambition is to be a Wushu master, Alex Khumalo (11) aspires to become the Wushu Coach and Film Actor, Mandlenkosi Simango (10) aspires to be an actor in the Martial Arts as well as meeting Jet Li, Gareth Banda (14) aspires to be the Wushu master at Zimbabwe National Army and lastly, Chester Sibindi (12) who was inspired by Jackie Chan,aspires to be a Wushu master. All the club members have a strong Christianity background.
