Swerengoma is a Shona name used to define an arts practitioner; especially a performing artist. Swerengoma Arts Productions is a full time performing arts group currently with a membership of eight males and two females. It specializes in drama, dance, music, poetry storytelling, performing arts training, and consultancy among others.
It was formed in February 1998. Members who are still in the group since its formation are William Majuru, Sydney Chataiwa and Knowledge Murefu. This performing arts group has worked with several ministries, Non-Governmental Organizations and Parastatals offering awareness and entertainment on different suggested topics and themes. It is available for hire at any function.
